Francis was into gadgets at an early age, but particularly, he was fascinated with cameras and was constantly messing around with his dad's Petri and Canon cameras. With his first paycheck he purchased a Minolta SLR and that started his journey into photography. In the beginning all of his shots were either too light or too dark. Lacking the skills to create good photographs he decided to enroll in a photography class. At the same time he stumbled upon the Pentax brand name when he was given a couple of K1000 bodies and a handful of lenses. Now, some 15 years and a couple of digital bodies later his passion for taking photographs and sharing the results is stronger than ever and he will pass on the enjoyment of this wonderful art to his children. |
